038823 (also known as F038823) TUTCO SUREHEAT threaded in-line heater is a Style A design that should be used whenever an absolute leak-proof system up to 150 psi (10 bar) is required. This threaded in-line hot air heater is designed for high pressure air applications needing a 1/2" NPT sized heater. This hot air heater provides a maximum process heat of 1400 degrees F by providing 4,000 maximum watts at 220 volt power and 18.2 max. amps. The heater is 9" long with a 304 stainless steel housing. The recommended minimum airflow for this heater is 60 SCFH, and the maximum inlet temperature should be no higher than 900 degrees F. This TUTCO SUREHEAT threaded inline heater is NOT RoHS compliant.
A TUTCO SUREHEAT hot air heater life can last up to 5000 hours if the manufacturer's guidelines are followed. Compressed air or air from a regenerative blower can be used to supply CLEAN and DRY air to your heater. Dirt, grease, oil, oil vapors, corrosive gases, and reactive gases will damage the air heater. Compressed air at typically 100 p.s.i. will need to be filtered to eliminate oil from the air supply.
TUTCO SUREHEAT Air/Inert Gas heaters should be used to heat air or an inert gas only. Use with explosive gases or in an explosive ambient can result in an explosive event, possibly leading to a serious accident or injury.

The 066823 (also known as F066823) closed-loop power control unit is made for 30 amp, 120/240 volt and 4 to 20mA output (phase-angle fired SCR--silicon controlled rectifier--power control).
