The 048917 (also known as F048917) TUTCO SUREHEAT Hot Air tool heater is a Serpentine II heater with a ceramic tube lining, which makes it ideal for food industry applications. This heater provides TWO STAGE HEATING for quicker heat up vs. a single stage coil element of the same wattage. The hot air heater is 8.20" long with a 0.63" outside diameter. The heater provides 3600 watts of heat using 240 volt single phase power.

These heater elements are shipped in a box containing 2 pieces. ALL ORDERS MUST BE IN MULTIPLES OF 2.

The heater life can last up to 5000 hours if the manufacturer's guidelines are followed. Compressed air or air from a regenerative blower can be used to supply CLEAN and DRY air to your heater. Dirt, grease, oil, oil vapors, corrosive gases, and reactive gases will damage the air heater. Compressed air at typically 100 p.s.i. will need to be filtered to eliminate oil from the air supply.

TUTCO SUREHEAT Air/Inert Gas heaters should be used to heat air or an inert gas only. Use with explosive gases or in an explosive ambient can result in an explosive event, possibly leading to a serious accident or injury.
