066823 TUTCO SUREHEAT Hot Air Heater Closed-Loop Power Controller

The 066823 (also known as F066823) closed-loop power control unit is made for 30 amp, 120/240 volt, 50/60 Hz, Single Phase, and 4 to 20 mA output (phase-angle fired SCR--silicon controlled rectifier--power control). Overall dimensions are 5.5 inches long 4.75 inches wide and 3 inch height. This TUTCO SUREHEAT power control unit is used with the 070429 (now obsoleted) and 076361 digital temperature controllers. The 066823 is the closed-loop power control used for TUTCO SUREHEAT hot air heaters. The unit has a large aluminum heat sink for cooling, a NEMA 4X (IP65) front panel and it has UL, CSA and CE safety approvals.
If an SSR power controller is being used it should be a zero cross SSR power controller with a 5 millisecond or faster processor to complete the cycle, refresh, and scan times.
Please note: TUTCO SUREHEAT Hot Air Tools should be used to heat air or an inert gas only. Use with explosive gases or in an explosive ambient can result in an explosive event, possibly leading to a serious accident or injury.
