When the GSU-402-CT urn heater IS NO longer available, The TTUH-CO-40 is a COMPARABLE immersion heater built with a lower watt density to provide a long heater life and dependable performance. Urn heaters can be designed for use in commercial coffee makers, percolators, restaurant buffet tables, sterilizers, autoclaves, steam tables, kettles, and humidifiers. These immersion heaters are ideal for other applications that require a low profile and short tubular element lengths.

The TTUH-CO-40 urn heater is made for applications requiring 240 volt power single phase and 4000 watts. In the urn heater diagram that is attached below, the ?A? overall heater length dimension is 9.50?, the ?D? inside tank height is 2.125", and the ?C? width dimension is 3-1/16? (was 3 inches). This heater comes with two copper (was stainless steel) sheath tubular elements that are silver brazed into a brass header. This heater is also supplied with a standard 4 inch square conduit box. The heater needs a minimum 2-7/16? (was 2-3/8 inch) diameter hole for installation. Be sure to compare this heater with the original Glenn Electric heater, because the heater can only be returned if it doesn?t work per the intended purpose and due to a manufacturing defect.

An optional thermal cut-off is supplied with this immersion heater. This protective mechanism will shut the power off to the heater whenever a low liquid level is detected.
