TUBULAR HEATERS & PROCESS HEATERS

Flanged immersion heaters usually have u-shaped and robust tubular heating elements brazed into a metal (usually steel) flange with electrical connections. The heater flange is usually attached with some type of gasket and a support that is welded to the side of a tank or other storage vessel.

Flanged immersion heaters can be ordered with a forged steel flange, a 316 stainless steel flange, or a 304 stainless steel flange. The flange shape for the immersion heater can be round or square and is offered in many different diameters. Depending on your needs, flanged immersion heaters can be specially made with a variety of combinations in wattage, voltage, sheath material, terminal housing styles, and thermostat selection.

An immersion heater is a cost-effective method for heating gases, water, oil, heat transfer fluids, and corrosive solutions. If you need to heat the contents of a tank or container that is under pressure, then flanged immersion heaters are available with 150 pound and 300 pound ratings.
